Novelty

Novelty is the quality of being new. Although it may be said ti have an objective dimension it essentially exists in the subjective perceptions of individuals.


Innovation

• Innovation is the process of making improvement by intoducing something new. The realization of a creative idea in a social text
• Add on new ideas to existing things or idea.
• To be called an innovation, an idea must be replicable at an economical cost and must satisfy a specific need.

The different between invention and innovation:

Invention : 1. Come out with the new idea and object/product.
2. Take an existing knowledge and take a risk to create a new idea or object.

Innovation : Take the main idea that has been invented and modified the idea.

The study was conducted from 2002 to 2006, and here is the top 15 Innovative Country list:

Creative people fall into these four categories:

1. Aesthetic Organizers : (e.g: make a new recipe for lunch)
2. Boundary Pushers : those who take an existing idea and push it a little further.
3. Inventors : Those who take an existing knowledge and create new ideas.
4. The Rarest Group : Boundary Breakers.
